The company

Pelostudio is a design studio for startups. We help entrepreneurs build product, brands, website and visual communication tools. The team is made of 5 designers, one front-end developer and we partner up on a regular basis with copywriters. Our office is based in Paris but we are used to work in remote. We try to build long term relationships with our clients acting as their design team in remote. Our project work on a weekly basis and we collaborate with medium sized startups like Didomi, Studapart or Phantombuster. You will find more exemples of our work on pelo.studio

The Job

You will join Pelostudio's design team to work on a large variety of projects from Product design to Web design. Each project are assign based on personal sensibilites and clients needs (UX, UI, Motion, Branding...).

Your mission will be to produce mockups and prototype and be able to present your work in front of the client with the goal of explaining and discuss your design choices with them. Bonus point for front-end or motion design skills.

Requirements

• A portfolio that showcases your work.
• A least one experience in either Product or UI/UX design. Bonus if you already worked in a startup environment. We are looking for someone autonomous and ready to jump on our projects.
• Fluent in English and in French. You will have to present your work in front of international clients.
• You wish to join a small company and look to improve your skills in the middle of a complementary design team.
• You are creative with a strong sense of logic. You know how to analyse an existing solution and get inspired by it.
• You are autonomous and wish to develope your argumentative skills.
  • You know how to use design tools such as Figma or Sketch.
• You have a strong design culture.
• Previous employer contacts or testimonials.
